Toronto, ON, March 3, 2017: Toronto based poet, film composer, music producer and writer, Anuj Rastogi has released a new spoken-word single and video ahead of International Women's Day 2017.

Baby Girl” is a father’s love-letter and expressed admiration for his daughter and the world she will help create as she navigates through it. A prolific poet, spoken word artist and writer, “Baby Girl” takes Anuj’s musical storytelling steps further, with a visual narrative that is engaging and heartwarming,

According to Anuj, his reason for writing this piece is very personal. "Of all my creative output to date, "Baby Girl" is something very close to heart. I wrote this spoken word poem as a love letter of sorts, to my daughter, and all daughters everywhere. Every word of this poem is inspired by conversations and moments I've had with my daughter."

Baby Girl” features Anuj’s spoken word narration wrapped music composed for the piece. The official video takes you through his 5-year old daughter's journey and interaction with the world around her, and his own dream for what a future world will hold for her, and what our daughters will hold for themselves.

Baby Girl” is available for download at bandcamp.omnesia.com, iTunes, and other digital retailers. Visit www.youtube.com/omnesia for the official video.
